My Dream Job

If I could have any job in the entire world, it would be a landlord. A landlord is a person who owns multiple property and collects rent every month from their tenants. I would want to be a landlord because most people always have sleep deprivation because of staying up late for work or doing any other work related stuff to earn money. They would either do this for a salary raise or to avoid getting he/she targeted and later getting fired from the job. Most people work for the money than letting the money working for themselves. This means “to achieve financial freedom by using money you’ve earned before, to generate even more money ”. If you don’t understand the quote, it basically means to not chase money but let your money you’ve earned before, to generate even more money. It will take a while, but one of the ideas is to invest your money and continue investing throughout the years of your life to increase your wealth. By leaving your money in the bank without investing it, the value of it will deplete. Once you’ve retired from working all your money will only be enough for living expenses, food and clothes. While you invest your value of your money will gradually grow bigger and bigger. For example if I invested one hundred dollars, over thirty seven years I will have a total of one hundred thousand dollars which is enough for living expense and others! Imagine if you invested to a even higher value than one hundred dollar’s! If your still a kid and have a bank account? You still have time invest now! The value does not mater! The main point is the increase! Most people worked very long hours for their salary and yet used everything in life needs without being able to enjoy it. This is not applied to all works, but mostly it is. Additionally getting a raise at work is hard! And requires lots of your hours at work! But if you’re a landlord you can give yourself a raise! You don’t abuse it but when it’s time for a raise, you raise the price! Besides giving yourself a raise, there’s a lot of other benefits about being a landlord. For example you wont be afraid of getting fired from your side job. With the amount of money/income you receive as an landlord every month, you can use that as your full time job in case your boss fired you. Or if you want to retire and be a full time landlord and not wanting to do home repairs? Well you can just hire handyman to fix any repairs with cost. Lastly in my opinion being a landlord allows you to choose who you want to work with. Unlike a work environment where you have to work with people who you don’t like, but you have to pretend to like them to survive in the job and not be targeted and get eliminated. As an landlord you would choose who you thinks has a good personality with good income/credit scores to work with. You’re not trying to find a life partner but you have to find someone who you can interact with, and work with. You don’t have to pretend to like them. If you don’t like the tenant who you’re working with? No need to suffer feeling stress working with them and pretend liking them to continue working with them. Kick them out and find a new tenant that will suit your working style! But remember respect goes both ways. As an landlord you must do your part by being respectful towards your tenants. By having respect both ways, this will make your tenants to continue renting form you (long term renting)! Finally, Here’s how it would start as an landlord. As a beginner landlord you would start at zero and begin saving money up by working in a good salary amount of paying. Once you have enough you buy a house! Once that house is bought you save up you’re work money also, including your rent money that you get every month! As you get more house’s the easier is to buy another one. It’s like this if there’s a big mess and theirs just one person cleaning, it will take forever. But with with ten people’s help, the mess will be cleaned very fast (Just an analogy). This is just like buying houses as a landlord. Having just one property will take long to save up for the next, but as you continue saving and buying multiple property and listing them for renting, owning multiple property makes you able to collect so much more money in a faster time period for the next house for you to buy! For example, one house rent is worth one hundred dollars a month. The next house you wanted to buy is one thousand dollars. You may have to wait ten months to purchase it, but once you saved enough money you continue buying and expanding your properties and repeat the cycle! As a landlord you should continue expanding the amount of property you own. Once you get to five houses after saving a while, you just wait two months till you get the next house that costs (one thousand dollars). And that’s the main trick on being successful as an landlord (expanding the amount of your properties). Most landlord just buys one or two houses and stop buying. A successful landlord will continue to expand their rental houses collection. As simple as it might be, maintaining the houses is tough. The main key of being a landlord is to not fall asleep and be dedicated to every problem that’s out there. This means to always be dedicated and responsible for every problem your tenant reached out to you. Other wise they will take advantage of you. This means they won’t pay you rent, but still stay in the house. This will cause you to receive no rent money. If you’re not receiving rent for months then you must act quick. The worst case to solve this problem, you have to call a sheriff to kick the tenant out. Second reason why I want to be landlord is because you gain lots of financial knowledge. With this knowledge people will not be able to trick me easily with anything related to finance whether I’m making bill transactions, buying a house or making a financial deal with he/she. Third reason why I want to be a landlord because its nice collecting rent every month without doing anything if you’re lucky. Such as home repairs and tenant dramas. I basically collect free money without doing anything unlike real jobs. Real jobs requires hours and hours of your hard work and dedications in the office depending on you’re job level/role. I’m not saying being a landlord does not require you’re hard work and dedication, but it’s slightly different! Being a landlord is a whole new discussion of work. As a landlord it’s important to have time management, dedication, hard work, being focus at all times and not falling asleep on any problems. The main point that differs from regular work to landlord job is one thing, “you’re doing it to support you and you’re family not a company”. As a landlord everything is under you’re control which you have to be dedicated to what you’re doing, if you’re dedicate and hungry to what you’re doing, you will strive above and beyond to what you’re doing! It’s like this kids like playing video games, they strive to playing video games because they are dedicated to this! Another reason I want to be a landlord is because real jobs requires you to wake up at a certain time everyday and go to work early (such as going to school). if you’re a full time landlord you don’t have to wake up early unless there’s a problem to fix! It’s really relaxing being a landlord, but sometimes it can be really hard/stressing with an major house repair or recruiting people with good income/credit score to rent from you. Lastly my dream job is to be a landlord because with this amount of money and income I’m receiving every month, I would be able to help my family with any financial problems, or even giving them money for any kind of support. And lastly enjoying the money with my family by traveling all around the world. For me the main key of being a landlord is not just the money, but for me it’s always being able to stand by my family side being there to help them and support them, then being in the office for twelve hours! And what do you accomplish from being in a office for twelve hours? Getting a paycheck that will be spending every time you earn it!
